I saw Dr. Patel (oncologist) today and got some great news. The white blood cell booster was a success and - work with me here - while "normal" white blood cell count is around 10,000, my blood cell count today was 30,000. Does that mean I have a super duper immune system or what? ;-)
As I am finishing up lunch, I wanted to give a special thanks to Dorit & Gilad and to my mom who have been cooking up a storm for me. Yesterday was the first day in a week where I actually had a real appetite back. Up until then, I was surviving on Dorit & Gilad's delicious homemade soups. Mom has replenished my soup supply and so I am good to go. Thank you also to Tammy, who has taken care of my dinners (thank goodness for my freezer) so I was all taken care of.
